Jaymor Industries Ltd manufacture heavy duty industrial pull cord and foot switches to suit many applications. We also stock heavy duty Otto handpiece pushbuttons which have proven to be reliable in many high repetition environments.

All Jaymor switches have rugged cast aluminium bodies and lids with powder coat high impact finish. The BFS and BCS series are rubber sealed to prevent dust and dirt, and are also splash proof. This, combined with the heavy duty manufacture of the internal components, gives the switches an extraordinary long life span.

All Jaymor switches utilise the same micro-switch, with an electrical rating of 10A @ 240VAC, and 15A @ 14VDC.

The BFS and BCS series are heavy duty pull cord switches. There are several variations available, each based on the same housing (pictured above). The housing measures approximately 160 mm x 160 mm x 70 mm.

The lid on the housing has a rubber seal to protect against moisture, and the lever arm has a rubber boot which protects the moving part of the switch. Each switch is supplied with a solid cast aluminium mounting bracket.

This series of switches are available in 5 configurations:

1. The BCS1 - has PULL ON / RELEASE OFF functionality.

2. The BCS3 - has PULL ON / PULL OFF functionality.
(this configuration also has an extra safety switch to make it suitable for three wire stop/start control)

3. The BFS - has PRESS ON / PRESS OFF functionality, intended for use as a footswitch.
(this configuration is simply a BCS3 with the addition of a foot pedal)

The AFS is a heavy duty foot switch. The cast aluminium housing makes the AFS a sturdy and reliable option for those applications where constant, high impact use is common.

The AFS housing has two 16mm glands for cable access at the rear and has a comfortable foot action for continuous duty.

The AFS is typically wired in a PRESS ON / RELEASE OFF arrangement.

Jaymor Industries have heavy duty handpiece pushbuttons available manufactured by Otto Engineering in USA.

The "P9" series of dome style button (pictured) has proven to be particularly hard wearing and is ideally suited to high-use applications, with a mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles.

The "P9" is available in either low or high profile models, and its compact size makes it ideal for use in many handpiece applications.

Coloured caps are available for the Otto range of pushbuttons, with the standard model having a black, high profile button head.
